The Ins and Outs of AMSOIL’s Compressor Oil

If you have a larger compressor such as a single or multiple stage rotary vane, rotary screw, or reciprocating type, keep it cool.  Keeping it cool with the right oil is key to keeping your productivity moving forward.  Have you checked the oil level in your compressor recently?  And when was the last time it was serviced?

AMSOIL offers a synthetic compressor oil that lasts up to 8,000 hours of run time.  It is compatible with PAO, ester-, and petroleum-based oils.  That makes it easy to service your compressor and replace your current oil with AMSOIL synthetic when it’s time to change the oil.  Don’t worry about any chemical reaction causing your compressor damage.  Note: If you are currently running a glycol- or silicone-based oil, drain every bit of it out before switching to AMSOIL synthetic.  They aren’t compatible for mixing purposes.
