The Ins and Outs of AMSOIL’s Compressor Oil
If you have a larger compressor such as a single or multiple stage rotary vane, rotary screw, or reciprocating type, keep it cool. AMSOIL offers a synthetic compressor oil that lasts up to 8,000 hours of run time. It is compatible with PAO, ester-, and petroleum-based oils. 4. Option 4 is a replacement for ISO 68 / SAE 30 oil.
5. Option 5 is called SIROCCO and in meant as a replacement for PAG oil Sullair Sullube 32 and Ingersoll-Rand SSR Ultra Coolant. It’s recommended for silicone-based fluids. So, be sure to check with your local AMSOIL dealer if this is the specific oil you need.
Making the Right Choice
If you’re unsure of which type of oil your compressor requires, you should be able to look in your owner’s manual or contact your local compressor dealer to request the information.
Depending on the oil option you need, AMSOIL offers multiple sizes to make changing your it easy and efficient. Container sizes range from as small as a quart, a 5-gallon pail, a 30-gallon drum, 55-gallon drum, or a 275-gallon tote.
